社内ミーティング：RPAの発表

アイクラフトでは、毎週火曜日に社内ミーティングがあります！

今週はインターンのトーマスさんから
RPA(Robotic Process Automation)についての発表がありました！

発表の様子と発表内容をご紹介します◎

Exciting times continue for with iCraft…

With the rapid development in IT and Information System, it is just right that organizations also need to invest time and efforts in exploring modern trends and technology such as big data collection, machine learning and automation in order to deliver better services to clients. Better services such as speedy processing and the elimination of ‘manual work’ that can usually result in many errors.

With the help of RPA (Robotic Process Automation) not only do users have the benefit of cost saving but also receive the luxury of saving more time from the automated work, teams can now have more time to attend to other work with the same time resulting in more productivity.

The attached are pictures of iCraft meeting held on 2018/10/17 and had a demonstration by one of our interns (Tomas Kapiye) on python automating the following processes on googlechrome:
1. opening the googlechrome automatically
2. accessing gethub website.
3. automatically inserting username and password.
4. logging into the website account.
5. Download a file into a locally or external iCraft server.
6. Then search any iCraft information within gethub.
7. log out

After few edits on the program code, this program can easily automate processes in any field, machinery, accounting & Finance, check-in-system etc. not excluding data prediction.
We are looking forward to developing more of these programs to address bottlenecks for both internal use as well as for current clients and potential clients.
All these are steps of iCraft moving towards promoting the idea of RPA.
